Paddle Fitness: Off Water Full Body Care Workshop

Join me for the ultimate on land body care workshop to stay paddle fit for 2019

Spending hours on the water adventuring is the perfect life and we have a great year ahead of us but we need to stay paddle fit and healthy so we can enjoy every stroke of 2019

This day will give us the time, focus and knowledge to ensure we are putting back into our bodies off the water

Focusing on the “paddlers body” during this workshop we will create a “take home” care programme so you can look after your shoulders, backs etc off the water

We will be focusing on the 5 fundamentals:

Body alignment
Strength
Range of motion & flexibility
Core
Balance

Please bring a note pad and pen as we will break down the yoga poses, stretches and movements so you can create your own personal guide

I will be giving hands on assistance throughout the day to support movement and range of motion we will also be using props (blocks, straps, band’s,)

Timimgs:

730am -830am: Paddle on the Nottingham Canal for The LOVE of SUP Paddling Challenge

915am: Arrive at the Pavilion at Forest Recreation Ground (showers and changing rooms available) Tea, coffee and breakfast

1030am: Workshop begins

1230pm: Lunch at Homemade

130pm: Workshop

530pm: Workshop finishes with long relaxation
